Spotted Owls...

You know that a owl hoots and you know there are snowy owls and barn owls. However, have you heard of an owl that is endangered in Canada?

Well, there is the Strix occidentalis caurina, otherwise known as the Spotted Owl, which is an owl that is endangered in British Columbia. The spotted owl can also be found in California, Oregon, and in Washington. However, it is the most threatened bird in all of Canada.
